Map Buddy™ is an innovative application that facilitates the discovery, subscription, and creation of interactive maps. It serves as a versatile tool for users seeking to locate food trucks, garage sales, and quality coffee, or for those wishing to plan engaging scavenger hunts and leave surprise notes for their loved ones.

Upon subscribing to various maps, users can easily access these on their home map, consolidating all points of interest in one convenient location. The application includes a carefully curated collection of automatically updated maps, featuring essential data such as earthquakes and local informational resources from San Francisco's municipal services, including 311 and 911 calls, as well as fire department incidents. The roster of curated maps is continuously expanding.

A notable use case is the Great Lakes Bay Region Alliance, which employs Map Buddy to manage their STEM Passport program and promote various partnered STEM locations to Michigan students.

It is important to mention that the app previously known as Radar Chat has been rebranded as Map Buddy. While the core functionalities remain largely unchanged—including the ability to leave digital messages tied to physical locations—the new name more accurately reflects the app's purpose and enhanced user experience.
